Coach Gilbert Pleased with Reggae Girls Progress

Head Coach of Jamaica’s U-17 women’s team Xavier Gilbert says he is pleased with the progress made by the young Reggae Girlz as they prepare for the

CFU U-17 final round next week. The former St. Georges College cricketer says that the girls have gotten much sharper with their touches of the football and they are finishing well.

Jamaica will play Bermuda next week Wednesday before facing Trinidad and Tobago next Friday.

The top team from this 3 team group will advance to the 2018 edition of the CONCACAF Women’s U-17 Championship.

Jamaica has qualified for all CONCACAF Women’s u-17 Championships since its inception in 2008.
