The Island Still Celebrates Omar McLeod

The island is still celebrating after Omar McLeod lifted the team to the heavens copping Jamaica’s first gold after taking the 110 meters hurdles men’s title at the

IAAF World Championships in London on Monday.

The Olympic and World Indoor Champion added his third global title to his belt after clocking 13.04 seconds to cop the gold ahead of Shubenkov 13.14 and Baji 13.28.
The 23 year old became the first Jamaica to win a gold in the 110 meters hurdles at the World Championships while countryman Hansle Parchment finished 8th clocking 13.37 seconds.
Jamaica is now 5th on the medal table with 1 gold and a bronze
